Lock-down Extended Again
Sadly, the Premier has announced today that the lock-down in Regional NSW will be extended until at least midnight on Friday, September 10. More empty classrooms ☹
This means that current conditions continue. As such, we ask that families keep their kids at home unless they absolutely need to attend school, for example if you are an essential worker.
Here are some other important points for you to know:
- Wellbeing continues to be a priority for all of us. Please try not to worry and model a positive attitude for your kids.
- Please keep your kids at home if you possibly can, to help us get through this safely and more quickly. School will continue to operate on a skeleton staff only for the lock-down period
- New learning packs each week will continue to be available for collection on Mondays between 10am and 4pm in the dirt carpark off Suttor Street. In the event of rain on any Monday, we will set up under the basketball court covered area – entry via the dirt carpark
- Completed learning packs can be dropped off for marking at the front pedestrian gate off Suttor St (near the main office) in the tubs provided on Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 3pm. This means we can have them back to you, marked and ready for Monday.
- Teachers will continue to contact each family each week – remember that this may come from a private number as teachers work from home. Staff will also organise online sessions and check-ins with your kids.
Working together to minimise the potential spread and look after each other, we will get through this – hang in there!
Please contact us if you need any help at all.
